U.S. Supreme Court
I find the Supreme Court to be very interesting in how much power that they hold within their court. Something that I didn't know when watching the video is that sometimes, justices will accidently overlook certain details in a trial so the other justices always ask certain questions to mark importance in a certain matter and remind the other judges of such matter. I believe that the most important take away point of the supreme court has to be that the 9 chief justices stand to protect the people and answer any problems that the people raise to them, not them going out and picking out problems for themselves to answer. The most surprising thing that I learned from this video was that most of the chiefs whenever first going into office and doing there job were very nervous at first, some even said that it took them three to five years to not be nervous anymore and just do their job. I think this because I would think that they would have just hired people who wouldn't be nervous and would just be able to keep a calm composure when presented with an audience during a case. I will say that this video definitely made me respect the supreme course more and it also helped me understand that they don't just work for power and money but also that the supreme court is home to a non-biased group of chief justices that only want what is best for the people and not for a specific party.
